This is a moving read. It’s a book which is layered with many themes including the authors personal experiences, a fathers memories and hope. This precious read is a lyrical delight, with the sweetest of illustrations. An inter generational story between a grandmother, Sitti and her granddaughter Mona. This is an incredibly moving read. International #ReadPalestine week has begun and continues to December 5th, though I hope this would continue throughout your reading journey. Today marks #worldchildrensday… Half of the population left are children. Exploring emotions and friendship with these two great picture books. Poetry books we love.
