Book review express: The Big Bad Mood written by Tom Jameson and illustrated by Olga Demidova.

A young boy named George is having a challenging day.  He is shouting lots and declaring that he doesn’t want to do whatever is suggested. His mum, naturally, isn’t too pleased with George’s mood and states that there is a big bag mood hanging around. Will this mood shift?

This is a brilliant book that will get conversations going about how to deal with big emotions. All too often we can state the obvious with children but are we teaching them startegies on how to deal with big emotions?

This book would be  a brilliant one to use in a learning setting and hopefully will encourage discussions about what works bests when moods need uplifting.
