Book review: 10 reasons to love a lion and whale by Catherine Barr and illustrated by Hanako Clulow.

The series 10 Reasons To Love is a fantastic one. Non-fiction books based on different animals with striking illustrations and they are super for introducing information books to preschool and up aged children.

Just as the title suggests there are 10 detailed facts in each book presented alongside lovely art. Each book has been well thought out and the size of the book is perfect size for young readers. The lovely cut out detailing on the front cover is super for little hands to explore or even use as a stencil.

Whats also is lovely about this series is that it introduces children to environmental issues also.

These are brilliant books to have in a learning setting and are sure to prompt much discussion. My girls are so pleased that we have these books and i think these books are fantastic.
