The success of That’s Not My …books continues and a new title has just been published, That’s Not My Llama. Next year Usborne Publishing will be celebrating 20 years of these entertaining board books that have amused many a child.
Llamas seem to be very on trend with shops full of accessories and stationary adorned with this rather loveable animal. Fiona Watt has again done a super job at introducing llamas and exploring descriptive language. Each double page has a different texture for little hands to explore and Rachel Wells illustrations through out are brilliant. There is also a white mouse for young readers to spot ok each page.
The board book is a super one for preschoolers and the series has been enjoyed by my girls too.
We couldn’t resist completing some llama crafts after reading the book.
That’s Not My Llama is a great introduction to a different animal and it’s appealing tactile format is friendly for babies and up. Head over to my Facebook @mammafilz or Instagram @mamma_filz to be in with ghe chance of winning a copy of this book, thanks to Usborne publishers.
