From the creators of Last Stop on The Reindeer Express, Maddie Powell Tuck and Karl James Mountford have created another beautiful book.

Young Eva has a pet cat named Luna but it has gone missing. She has looked everywhere for it but it turns out that Luna is in a safe, magical place, Moonlight Zoo where lost animals go. There are all sorts of animals that Eva comes across whilst searching at Moonlight Zoo, but will she find her Luna?

The book is complete with peep through pages and that rather scrumptious front cover. Though it’s never mentioned Eva wears a hearing aid and it was something that my youngest daughter spotted. She’s familiar with adults using hearing aids but unlike her sister who has friends who have hearing impairments, she’s not seen many children using one so it encouraged a gentle discussion about it.
