I really want to win book review MammaFilz.com

The book begins a sporty read and the underlying themes are brilliant. With school sports day looming the young girl pictured on the front cover really wants to win. She does everything to prepare herself for the big day but she doesn’t win. Could she have prepared more or perhaps her true talents lie somewhere else?

Her fellow classmate performs really well on the day and perhaps the girl does become a little green eyed but actually it’s her friends that inform her about a baking competition.

In the previous book readers discover that the young girl really likes cake and she is quite good at baking splendid bakes too. Does her super duper cake come first in the competition?

This read is so relatable to young and older readers and a great pick for a classroom library. One things for sure I love this young girls determination.

With double spreads of busy art work a plenty and rhyming text that makes for a rather splendid read aloud, this is a winning book.
