Book review: Illuminatlas by Carnovsky and written by Kate Davies.

See the world uniquely in this fascinating atlas written by Kate Davies and designed by Carnovsky. This is the third book in the best selling illumi series, others include the super Illuminature and Illumanatomy.

This atlas goes further then exploring countries and cities and shares information about plants, people, and animals. These are all presented in vibrant, psychedelic looking pages which require a coloured lens to look at. This inventive read will totally immerse readers into a geography lesson with a difference.

The red lens is used to explore history, art and culture. The green lens is to explore the geography of each continent and the blue lens can be used to discover facts about animals and plants.

Bursting with information this innovative book would be a great gift that I would recommend for 7 year olds and up. This is a wonderful non-fiction read that I am sure will be gratefully received by children and adults.
