Book review: Naughty Bus by Jan and Jerry Oke

Naughty Bus by Jan and Jerry Oke.

I have loved this book for years and now Little One is enjoying it too. It is a book filled with fantastic photo images telling the story of a bus that a little boy receives as a gift. The text in the book is shaped in such a way that it mimics what’s happening in the story.

The book visually is fantastic and it really captures a child’s imagination on what a toy bus could get up to with a little help from its new owner…some might say it’s being ‘naughty’ and others may say it’s dedicated to its job. It’s a brilliant book suited to toddlers and upwards. It’s a book that really gets a child thinking and is sure to open up a plethora of questions. A real delight.

This book would also make a fantastic focus text for Early Years and Key Stage 1 children. On my ‘Play and Learn’ page, there are some activities I completed with Little One focussed around this book.

I purchased this book from Wordery.
