“A brand new baby brother to take under your wing
Is a rare and precious present,
an unsung song to sing.”

Written by Harriet Evans and illustrated by Andrés Landazábal this book would make a lovely gift. The book is published by Little Tiger.

Brother is wonderfully illustrated and is a celebration of brothers. It shares how each of our families can vary in size and refers to brothers, step brothers and half brothers, sharing that they are “…one and all.”

The book is a lovely read aloud with its gentle rhyming surrounded by touching and warm illustrations of many families.

The bond of having a brother, of how he can be there to support you and realistically how there will be squabbles too, is written about in the book.
A sweet read and there is also a sisters book available too.
