Goodnight Veggies book review

The fun word play and rhythmic text written by Diana Murray makes this a wonderful read aloud.

My minis have really enjoyed reading this to their baby brother. Such a fun way of introducing littles to various vegetables and seeing how they grow, and how all that growing can be rather exhausting.

From the “Turnips tucked in tightly” to the dreaming aubergines, snoring celery and “cuddly cauliflowers,” I’m sure many readers will enjoy observing the various vegetables as they prepare to sleep.

The art work is bright and engaging and each vegetable has their own little personality. My minis also love spotting the worm who makes an appearance throughout the book and is also preparing to sleep just like his fellow garden friends.

The book is available now.
