Pip and Posy Book and Blocks Set illustrated by Axel Scheffler

My girls really enjoy reading all about the fun Pip and Posy have. If you’ve been following me since the early days Pip and Posy The Big Balloon was one of my early reviews shared here and on Instagram. You can find that review here.

This lovely board book and blocks set would make a wonderful gift and it’s timing couldn’t have been more perfect as my youngest poppet has just turned 2. She’s taking a real liking to puzzles so the puzzle blocks are a lovely accompaniment to a read she enjoys.

The board book is dinky and cute. It would make a great book for on the go and it is the perfect size for little hands.

There are different Pip and Posy scenes you can create with the blocks and this could be a wonderful prompt to explore more of these loveable characters adventures.

The friendship Pip and Posy represent is a realistic one and relatable to its target audience of young readers.

Lovely to have a great pairing combining a brilliant read with a jigsaw activity.
