2017

In a few hours time we will be welcoming January and of course 2018!

I started this blog just short of a year ago now. The blogs birthday is in January.

After being encouraged by close friends and family to continue to share activities I do with my eldest daughter, Little One, I carried on sharing on Instagram and then took it a step further and started my own blog.

2017 has been full of blessings and many reflective moments, all for which I’m very grateful.

It’s so lovely to look back at photos I’ve shared on social media and my attempts at styling out book posts. I’ve enjoyed sharing my enthusiasm for reading and activities the girls and I get up to.

Looking back at blog posts it’s interesting to see which ones are read more frequently. I enjoy looking at who visits my blog, which country they are from and what they’ve looked at on my blog.

Completing a blog is fun but let’s not deny the work that goes into it also takes time.

Managing time has been interesting, particularly as when I started my blog I had a newborn and my eldest was 2 and not attending nursery. However, I’m pleased with what I’ve completed, Allhumdillah.

Some of my most read blog posts have included the following three.

My blog post on “You’re going to be a big sister.”

My book review on the delightful picture book Eid also proved to be a popular read.

Finally, my blog post sharing picture books which could assist in developing language and communication in one year olds and up was also a well read blog post.

I hope for all of us that 2018 is a year filled with fond memories, many books shared and time well spent with our little and loved ones.

I hope to share more reads and preschool fun with you all.

Bye for now and thank you so much for all your support in 2017.
